I never imagined that two little names whispered with love—Elma and Melizza—would one day blossom into a brand that touches the hearts of mothers around the world.
It all started with two tiny dresses.
As a mother, I poured my soul into creating hand-smocked, embroidered dresses for my daughters—Elma, my gentle, thoughtful dreamer, and Melizza, my joyful little whirlwind. Each stitch carried my love. Each pattern told a story. And when friends and family saw those dresses, something unexpected happened—they felt it too.
That love, that craft, that tradition... sparked something bigger.
Elma & Melizza was born not as a business, but as an extension of motherhood itself. Today, our dresses are lovingly handmade by talented women across Sri Lanka—mothers, sisters, daughters—who carry forward a legacy of patience, detail, and care. Every dress is not just sewn; it’s sculpted with purpose, with passion, with pride.
